Fred Martin is a painter and a writer whose first one person show was at the Contemporary Gallery in Sausalito (1949); whose most recent exhibitions were one person shows at the Art Foundry Gallery, Sacramento (2013); the Ever Gold Gallery, San Francisco (2014); and group shows at the SZ Art Center, Beijing and the Luxun Academy of Fine Arts, Shenyang, China (2014). His most recent award The Alfred Easton Poor Award, National Academy, NYC (2008).
