Educated at Wesleyan University, Keble College at University of Oxford, University of San Francisco, and Harvard University, Mark is a national leader and pioneer in education, an experienced nonprofit executive, and a sought-after international school and university startup and turnaround consultant. A former teacher, coach, principal, college educator, nonprofit attorney, and CEO, he has taught courses for a decade on education innovation at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and Graduate School of Education, and has served on numerous education boards, including San Francisco University High School, Leadership Schools, and Flex Schools, among others.
Selected honors include the Harvard Club of San Francisco’s Educator of the Year, and the Hart Vision Award, one of the highest awards given to education administrators in California.
