Meredith Martinez is a fiction writer. Her work focuses on formal and topical problems of time, intimacy, violence, and lyricism in narrative. Prior to joining SFAI, she was the Education Programs Manager for the Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing at Arizona State University. She has an MFA from Warren Wilson College, and is completing a novel. She is also a member of the Xicana/o and Native American led artist collective Radio Healer.
