MIRA LARKIN is the granddaughter of Hollywood Ten Screenwriter Albert Maltz. She was born in Mexico City, where her mother, the youngest child of Albert Maltz & Margaret Larkin had lived since the age of 7. Mira left Mexico in 1967 after her grandmother's passing. She has resided in San Francisco since 1968. She grew up in the Mission District. She attended Mission High School & San Francisco State University. She has worked in Independent Filmmaking for over 20 years but currently has found her passion in caring for dogs.
