Ebitenyefa Baralaye  is an artist and designer who interprets his history, culture, and psychology through abstraction and aesthetics of craft and design. Baralaye received his BFA in Ceramics from the Rhode Island School of Design and his MFA in Ceramics from the Cranbrook Academy of Art, and is currently and AICAD Teaching Fellow at SFAI.

The Association of Independent Colleges of Art & Design (AICAD) is a one-year teaching position that seeks to provide professional practice opportunities to high-achieving alumni who have recently graduated from AICAD member schools, while also increasing the racial and ethnic diversity of faculty at these institutions. AICAD institutions aspire to create a climate that recognizes and values diversity as central to excellence in art and design education.
