Relive the SFAI Gala: The Original Disruptor on April 29, 2017. Alumni artists transformed campus with 12 visually dynamic artist bars and lounges—from an alpine tiki bar to a sparkling drag show—and a crowd of over 700 people came to campus in support of student scholarships. 

Don Ed Hardy,  Larry Harvey, Maria Jenson, Paffard Keatinge-Clay, Regina Scully, and Julie Wainwright were honored as Disrupted Visionaries at the event. 

Featured alumni artists included: Bonanza, David Best, Katie Bush, Penelope Houston, David Janesko and Adam Donnelly, KunstCapades, Kerry Laitala, Tom Loughlin with Supermrin and The Confidential Theater, Whitney Lynn and Tony Labat, Mads Lynnerup, Lorena Perez Villers, and Taravat Talepasand, Ala Ebtekar, and Amir Esfahani.
