In Sachi Moskowitz’s (BFA Sculpture, Fall 2016) works, viewers are fully engaged in the act of looking. Body and senses slow to absorb the details the artist’s reconstructed world, like subtly crafted dioramas or mural-scale line drawings. In a recent exhibition in the Diego Rivera Gallery, Choose Where You Sit, the artist invited dancer Lyla Palmer to perform within the exhibition—a complimentary heightening of attention to movement, space, and body.
