SFAI Title IX coordinator
The Title IX Coordinator oversees implementation of the College’s Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity plan, disability compliance, and the College’s policy on equal opportunity, harassment, and nondiscrimination. The Title IX Coordinator heads the Title IX Team and acts with independence and authority free of conflicts of interest. Title IX Intake Specialist
The Title IX Intake Specialist is the first point of contact with students who have been victims of sexual assault within the jurisdiction of the San Francisco Art Institute Community. Duties include establishing interim measures, conducting initial investigations and seeking to accumulate the information necessary for the Title IX Coordinator to make the decisions in resolving the incident.
SFAI Mandated Reporter
In the State of California, all persons who are mandated reporters are required, by law, to report all known or suspected cases of abuse or sexual misconduct. All San Francisco Art Institue professional and student staff are mandated reporters', if becoming aware of an assault, or if shared information about an incident, they must report the information immediately to the SFAI Title IX Intake Specialist, who will proceed to investigate the incident.
