Marc-Olivier Wahler is the former director of the Palais de Tokyo (Paris, 2006–12), former director of the Swiss Institute (New York, 2000–06), and the founder and current director of the Chalet Society (Paris). Through his leadership of institutions, Wahler is regarded as a fearless advocate for artists and one of the most inventive and adventurous curators working internationally. He has presented major projects by artists such as Charles Ray, Cady Noland, Christoph Büchel, Dieter Roth, Tom Friedman, Roman Signer, Camille Henrot, and Micol Assaël.
