The Apartment Show, a group curated by Sara Knight and Sherwin Rio, uses the language of living space as a departure point to explore tangible, objectified, and assembled identities in a Swell-Gallery-turned-apartment. Cohabiting with commonplace items and furnishings, the works of Henry Chambers, Jordan Holms, Kacy Jung, Sara Knight, and Sherwin Rio blur the intersection of use, space/place, and shrine. The private becomes public—the internal now external.
