Post-Tea & Heresies: Reflections on Feminism
Monday, Mar 06, 2017, 12:00PM - 2:00PM
Walter and McBean Galleries
800 Chestnut Street

It's almost been a year since the feminist critique salon, Tea & Heresies, last met to discuss issues at school and to talk about art. This was just a small part of a longer series of events, elections, protests and conversations through which many intersectional womxn and femme artists of color have felt overlooked at SFAI and beyond.

This Post-Tea & Heresies event means to create a fluid space of reflection on these events, and more, through an intersectional and critical lens toward "feminism" at SFAI. While the event will be introduced as an open-mic discussion, anyone is welcome to reflect and heal in any performative way they prefer while making space for a critical and collective environment.
