Seattle and San Francisco have long been connected; in Seattle, streets are paved with cobblestone from the 1906 San Francisco earthquake, loaded aboard lumber ships that were using the stones and rubble for ballast. Cobblestones and Lumber continues this legacy of exchange, bringing together graduate students from the University of Washington and the San Francisco Art Institute for an exhibition that will take place in the Atrium of the SFAI Fort Mason Campus.
