On View: March 25–30
Opening Reception: March 26 | 5–7pm (artist talk at 5:30)
The exhibition’s realistic and abstract fine art present different approaches and emotions to encourage the audiences to interact and reflect on identity as reflected in public and personal interactions. We, as artists, want to share our personal experiences to find our own identity through our creativity and different mediums; Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Film, and Photography. The artists coming from all different cities and also countries experienced divided cultures emotionally and also physically. Some artists are immigrants and trying to accept new culture or try to exclude some part of it. Some artists try to adopt others’ thoughts in society as LGBTQ. Some artists are finding their own personality, characteristic and existence in society. The expectation of this exhibition is to represent what are the behind of scenes of artists and to share the world view from different perspectives, from ours.
