Sages & Pinnacles

On View: July 5 - 16
Closing Reception: Friday, July 12 | 5 - 7 PM

Attend a unique exhibit shaped by human nature, landscape and humanity, where the featured artists have created works as their own reply to the concept of the sound, shape, movement and visuals of the silence that can ‘rupture’ like noise found in ‘Glitch’ art practices led by Fellow Dumas, who is in residence teaching.  This may remind you of the higher forces among us including: how art calls you and whether it is motivated by your Holiness, the Dalia Lama who says: “Share your knowledge. It’s the best way to achieve immortality.” We can rest assured some of these artists’ influences include a little help from of all things like books to cats and then some. Here we can guess the inspiration might be the 60s: Martin Luther King, Mahalia Jackson, the 70s or 80s or 90s – it may even be the rock band the Beatles or aspects of what might be representative of your faith or the highest like ‘Allah’ or ‘God’--rest assured these artists hinge faith in their craft with art.

On July 12th you don’t want to miss the closing reception. Surprise guest artists just might appear and who knows they may even add you to their list.

Featured artists: Lisa J. Croner, Samuel De Lemos, Jonathan Naisteter, Wade Schuster, Mimi Vitetta, and Eve Werner

Image: Lisa J. Croner, Night Visions, abstract, 2019. Oil on canvas; 35 X 30 inches.
