You Are Here discusses where the collective we are or the individual you are. The goal is for viewers to engage with a variety of ideas of where we are in space in time. Artists are asked to get literal or metaphysical with the theme “You are here". Where is here? Where are we in the universe, in history, in time? Where are we in relation to the whole? Where are we going?.
Considering where we are in the larger sense of the whole, we invite viewers to create new modalities of relations. Visualizing our sense of space within the entirety of existence, conceptualizing our role within it. The intention of You Are Here is to empower participating artists and spectators to participate in co-creating the future.
